What We Did
As this was the 60th celebration of Montserrat’s oldest festival, we acquired photos of past kings, queens, and cultural icons for use in our promotional campaign.
We researched and compiled names of former calypsonians and queens from 1962 to present for use in billboards and to update the organization’s website.
As calypso is a key feature in the carnival, we collaborated with the local radio station for daily quizzes to offer prizes and tickets to the events.
We produced press releases before and after key events and this kept the carnival in the local and regional media.
